The brand name wants to summarize in one word the phrase “play plastic toys”. Taking inspiration from the kid’s enthusiasm when receiving a toy, Akira desires the same happiness for his clients, when buying pLAtOy eyewear for the first time. The brand’s silhouettes, realized with Made in Japan’s materials as high-quality acetate, are manufactured by FAOFLEX of Italy.
